Default The Deep - with Heros?

Hi everyone,

Myself and a couple of guildies have done a couple of runs of The Deep with a 12 man team couple of tanks, SS, BiP the usual. However it was a nightmare getting a group together and getting underway, so the question. Can three players do The Deep with heros?

I was thinking a mix of Sabway and physicals, anyone any advice or whether or not it's even possible?

Thanks

Frodo

Just thinking off the bat, I believe you'd need at least four players, preferably four teams of three consisting of one human each at the least. That's to deal with the challenge of the first four rooms, unless those challenges can be dealt with in some other way.

If you are a hero flagging master you could most likely do this 3+9 by parking room 3 until the rest break them out. The only other real pain in the ass spot in my experience for flagging is getting the gate pads just right. Alternatively you could just wait until Deep comes back in the Zaishen rotation and find a group that way.

I've done it with four people and eight heroes without too much trouble, granted it was normal mode and we were all on ts. I don't remember the builds we used but for sure it was mostly just random garbage that we always bring, sos splinter rit, mm, a few necro healers, ua, etc. Wasn't a big deal really after the first four rooms, hardest part was getting all the heroes down from the top without massive exhaustion.

Humans go into second room, flag the heroes into the other rooms, unflag them and they'll all pop to you. I havent done it in over a year now, but I'm pretty sure it should still work. If it isnt room 2, try room 3 etc.

I have done it with 2 guildies and heroes many times. each real player takes a hero monk and damage dealer (ele usually) and one or all of us will clear our room.

yes the heroes still pop to u but it seems to depend on how they are flagged into the spare room - sometimes they pop back to the start area and then have no energy for ages. No special builds

I miss he days of doing the Deep, even though I was just a monk or bip - I did want at one time to get a group of players together to do 9 man NM so we could run three "unloved" professions to get their trophy for HoM but the people I used to play with have all moved on long ago... Guess I should hang out down there next ZQ day.

You can bring 3 heroes per player if you flag them right. If you don't mind a slower start, one decent team is capable of breaking all the others out while they idle in their rooms. You will however need at least 5 units to get past the gate/pressure plates early on, which means an absolute minimum of 2 players and 3 heroes - and that would be only if you spend an elite on something like shadow meld to step one person through the closing gate - so better to have at least 6.

Anyway 2 humans + 6 heroes is a very doable number, the place is mind numbingly easy with all the power creep that's taken place.
